Outreach

Summer Psychology Research Initiative (SPRINT)

I co-founded the University of Toronto Summer Psychology Research Initiative (SPRINT), a volunteer- and trainee- led summer outreach program that aims to provide racialized high school students from across the Greater Toronto Area an opportunity to learn about a broad range of topics in psychology and gain hands-on research experience. Since its inception in 2021, 178 high school students from over 100 different high schools have taken part in the SPRINT program.

Research trainee leadership

I have served in various executive roles to advocate for and improve the experience for research trainees. For example, I served as President of the AGE-WELL HQP-AC in 2023-24, where I oversaw activities to foster meaningful connections, engagement, and knowledge transfer for over 1250 research trainees across Canada. I also previously served as President of the University of Toronto Psychology Graduate Student Association (PGSA).
